Purpose of Nose Job

is to create naturally aesthetic nose, and to harmonize the profile of the nose with the rest of the face. A rhinoplasty can also improve one’s ability to breathe. Rhinoplasty can consist of a structuring (augmenting), reducing, or corrective nose refining surgery. The nose can be form-refined or shortened at its base. A bump can be removed, and an inclined nasal septum can be corrected. The procedure might involve not only changes in the appearance of the nose, but also in its structure and function. In the case of respiratory problems, the procedure can be aimed at improving the respiratory ability. One rhinoplasty can include both aesthetic and functional aspects.

Nose Reshaping (Rhinoplasty) procedure

The skin of the nose is separated from the supporting bone and cartilage which is sculpted to the desired shape using the technique your surgeon has decided on. The bone and cartilage of the nose are altered to the desired shape and the skin repositioned over them giving a most pleasing result. As most surgery is carried out internally there are rarely any visible scars following a nose reshaping procedure.

Anaesthesia

General anesthesia or local anesthesia, depending upon type and degree of the nose shape correction.
